Tropical Landscape Transformation Inspired by Luxury Resort Living

This premium landscape project was inspired by the lush tropical gardens and relaxed resort atmosphere of The Lord Stanley Hotel, creating a vibrant outdoor environment rich in texture, colour, and natural beauty.

Our team designed and installed a large-scale tropical garden featuring more than 450 plants across over 60 carefully selected species, combining layered planting textures with a diverse palette of tropical and architectural greenery. The result is a dense, immersive landscape designed to evolve beautifully over time while delivering a resort-style experience at home.

The hardscape design incorporated premium ZAHRI Crazy Paving Calibrated – Smooth finishes, creating elegant pathways and outdoor spaces that blend naturally with the surrounding planting design. One of the standout features of the project was the extensive use of our favourite ground cover plant, Viola hederacea (Banksii), softening the paving edges and bringing a natural flowing aesthetic throughout the garden.

To ensure long-term sustainability and plant health, we installed a fully customised smart irrigation system specifically designed to accommodate the different water requirements of each planting zone. The system includes moisture detection sensors, rain sensors, automated irrigation scheduling, and tailored watering controls to maximise efficiency while maintaining optimal garden performance year-round.
